Fusion lets players combine compatible roleplay forms with friends. The official experience description advertises more than 50 different fusions, while the official Fusions Pass description makes an important distinction: you do not need that pass to fuse. The pass grants selectable fusion morphs named in its description; it is not the basic permission switch for the multiplayer mechanic. Start by choosing compatible morphs and one Era, then follow the live interface instead of copying an undated button sequence.

How to Fuse
Prepare two players, align Era and server conditions, use the current prompt, and diagnose a failed request safely.
Fusions Pass
Decide whether the optional pass contents are useful and understand why Obsidian is sold separately.
Use the list for names, the how-to guide for coordination, and the pass guide before spending Robux. The exact free combination table is not public, so the pages clearly separate officially named selectable forms from player-to-player combinations that still need a current in-game reproduction.
What the official sources establish
The experience description confirms that players can fuse with friends and form more than 50 fusions. It does not publish all ingredients, compatibility rules, invitations, distance limits, map restrictions, or current controls. The Fusions Pass is more specific: its description names Bluebird Azurite, Alexandrite, Opal, Steg, Stevonnie, Rainbow Quartz 2.0, Lemon Jade, Smoky Quartz, Sunstone, Mega Pearl, Sugilite, and Sardonyx, and says Obsidian is not included.
Those pass names establish a documented paid selection set. They do not automatically reveal the ingredients for free live fusion, and they should not be counted as proof that every listed form can be created through the multiplayer mechanic. The separate Obisidan Pass—spelled that way in the Roblox catalog—describes Obsidian as a large fusion with many actions and its own entitlement.
Prepare both players
Join the same server and agree on the same Era before choosing forms. Move to a quiet, open area where both avatars are loaded and close enough to see prompts. Avoid beginning beside a teleport, crowded event stage, or moving obstacle. If either player is on an older device, lower graphics first so a delayed interface is not mistaken for an incompatible pair.
Each player should know which morph is selected and whether it comes from a badge, pass, group, or seasonal entitlement. If one player cannot use the starting morph in the current Era, fusion cannot be diagnosed until that access issue is solved. Confirm that both players can move and that neither is stuck in another transformation or menu state.
Use the live fusion prompt
The exact button name and menu path are update-sensitive. Look for a fusion action attached to the morph, interaction menu, nearby player, or current roleplay controls. The initiating player should send one request; the other should accept or choose the complementary action once. Wait for the transition to complete before pressing again.
If the interface assigns control, camera, movement, or separation differently between participants, agree who will test each function. Start with movement in an empty space, then test visual actions one at a time. Large fusion forms can occupy more room than either starting morph, so do not spawn them where they block doors or crowd other players.
Read a failed attempt correctly
A missing prompt can mean the forms are incompatible, the players are in different states, the current map disallows fusion, an Era boundary applies, or the interface has moved. It does not prove that the Fusions Pass is required. The official pass description directly warns against that conclusion.
Reset both morphs, choose a documented common Era, move to a public open area, and try one request again. If that fails, change only one factor: one starting morph, the initiating player, the map, or the server. Changing everything at once makes the successful condition impossible to identify.
If a fusion appears but actions fail, wait for assets to load and test on a lower graphics setting. Rejoin once if the state remains broken. Record the two morphs, Era, place, prompt wording, result, and date when reporting the issue.
Free fusion versus selectable fusion morphs
Player-to-player fusion is a cooperative action. A pass can instead place finished fusion morphs in a selection category. These are different uses even when the displayed result has the same name. One may depend on another player and compatible forms; the other depends on ownership and the pass description.
This distinction matters for purchasing. Buy a pass only if you want the forms it explicitly lists and the live store still shows the terms you expect. Do not buy it as a troubleshooting step for a normal fusion request. Prices and sale status can change, so the live Roblox purchase dialog is the final check.
Plan a useful fusion roleplay
Choose a map with enough space and a scene where both participants remain involved. Decide how movement and dialogue will be handled, which actions are allowed, and how the fusion ends. If either player wants to change characters, separate cleanly before opening another morph or teleport menu.
For a first test, use a short scene: meet, agree to fuse, transform, walk a marked loop, perform one action, and separate. That sequence shows whether the interface, movement, camera, and exit state work without risking a long roleplay on an unstable setup.
What still needs live testing
The complete combination roster, exact request controls, acceptance flow, distance, cooldowns, map limits, Era differences, control sharing, and failure messages are not publicly documented. The 50+ official total is reliable, but assigning ingredients to all of them would be guesswork. Use the dated Fusion List for currently documented names and treat unlisted combinations as live discoveries until reproduced.
Use Morphs to choose starting forms, Maps for a spacious setting, and Passes to compare paid access. The Beginner Guide helps both players clear account and performance problems before testing a mechanic together.
